Very Basic transportation - smallest seating area I have ever experienced on an airplane. Too many add on costs(seats,snacks, even carry on luggage). Too many sales pitches for credit cards, and to purchase their food and beverages. Too many drills (put up your window shades - put down your window shades turn on the lights - turn off the lights.

The price was great; the rest was not. The rows are tiny. I'm a small person (5'2") and still found them cramped and uncomfortable. On top of that, they charge for all in-flight refreshments, including $3 for water. Finally, they sent my luggage (and everyone else's who was flying from Washington to St. Thomas) to Bogota, Colombia instead of St. Thomas. It took three days to get my suitcase.
All in all, it was not my best flying experience and given the choice in the future, I would not choose Spirit.

This airline was pretty sketchy in my book. Checking 1 bag was $35, and they are going to start charging for carry-ons. NOTHING was free (water, soda, snacks, etc). You couldn't get a seat assignment unless you paid to pick your seats. They also seemed to have a lot of problems with double booking the same seat. The airport terminals were small and crappy, and I would definitely attribute that to this very C-lister airline. The only plus was a cheaper flight, but it's not worth it unless you're getting a really great deal.
