the flight was pleasant over all. Airplane was clean, seats were comfortable and flight attendants were pleasant. Seats have improved over last while :) i would say the worst part of the experience is booking the flight. If unable to book online, the wait times for the phones is outrageous!!

As always, Westjet provides great service, comfy leather seats and generally on time departures and arrivals. Ran out of banana bread on the breakfast flight before they got to my seat in row 15. Only negative.

Check in was easy and fast - and the first checked bag is free! But choosing a seat ahead of time costs? Wasn't expecting that one. Not great if you're traveling as a family. In flight service was good, and no complaints about the seats. Plenty of overhead baggage room though. Overall a very good experience!

Days of free lunches are gone but otherwise, Westjet has wonderful, helpful and staff with a sense of humour! They make the Toronto - Vancouver haul quite enjoyable. I don't use the airline entertainment system - just read and work on my computer. It was a smooth trip both ways.

We caught the continuation of a flight from Sydney, Australia, so the plane was more comfortable than a regular domestic flight. The A330 has a 2-4-2 configuration which is much nicer for couples, with no 3rd seat, and the movie selection was quite good. The food selections are extremely limited, even though there's a cost involved. Although we arrived in relative comfort, our bags somehow didn't make it onto the plane and were put on 2 different flights that followed 4-6 hours later. With the poor baggage handling service and their contract arrangement with local delivery companies, it took a full 24 hours after we landed for our bags to arrive at our destination :( I usually fly WestJet and have never had bag problems with them, and since they also have good entertainment and decent comfort I will probably stick with them in the future. There's a better chance of scoring the exit row seats with WestJet, anyway. Our return flight was on a domestic A321, which has significantly less on offer for movies and tv shows.
