    routine except return flight was 45 minutes late

    leaving fll so arrive in Toronto 1.10 am & there was no ground crew they had to get one

    Although we checked in online as soon as we could, there were only a few seats left to choose from, and we could not sit together. On the flight home, I had the very back seat which could not be reclined. Also, I was last to be asked if I wanted to order any food, and they were out of pizza, which I had planned to order.

    The flight attendants were cheerful and worked hard.

    No surprises. Delta's $25 per bag fee is a drag.

    Stop over in Detroit - nice airport. Had 40 minutes in-between flights on return but almost missed the plane because the first flight was delayed 10 minutes and most passengers bring wheeled carry-ons which slows the debarking(?) process. Also, the other flight was in another terminal on the opposite side of the airport.

    Check in was pain free.

    Had to walk out on the tarmac, was very cold & windy

    Was nervous walking up stair to airplane. Had to pack carry on on luggage rack then had to wait for it to pick it up!

    Excellent flight. left on time. Arrived 15 minutes early. Avoided high winds on coast. Excellent service. Changed back to old tender beef option instead of newer tougher beef they used earlier this year.

    Usually fly Air Canada. Westjet flight was less formal. Pilot and crew had more sense of humour and passengers responded to that. We did have an exit row seat so that added to our seat comfort level. Extra foot room. It was worth the extra charge. We were seated first and our role in having an exit role was explained. Flight was on time. Only criticism I would have is that you have to pay for inflight movies whereas they are free on Air Canada.

    My husband and I have travelled Air Canada before, never Westjet. We found them to be very friendly and they applied humour wherever they could. It was just a much less formal atmosphere than that of Air Canada. We enjoyed it and will fly Westjet again.
