Turbo prop plane. Noise level about the same as larger jets. Seat space good. Nice small box lunch with beer/wine.
Terminal in Toronto is very comfortable with snacks
beverages.

Although I was initially opposed to the Toronto Island Airport (and believe that Porter may have gone too far in its new building), you cannot beat this location and airline for convenience and a good experience. I avoid Pearson whenever I can. The Porter planes are fast and comfortable, the staff are friendly and polite. We experienced turbulence on the return trip and the pilot updated us constantly on his efforts to fly around the storms causing it.

Save yourself hours of driving, waiting and crowds at Pearson airport and again at LaGuardia when flying between New York & Toronto. Porter supplies beverages for free (for everyone) in their boarding lounge. The on-flight drinks and snacks are free and the personnel are happy and friendly, even joking when we hit turbulence that they'll continue serving white wine but will wait for turbulence to end before continuing with red wine service! Checked luggage was on the turnstile by the time we arrived there at both ends. This is civilized! Will definitely fly Porter again (and NO I don't work for Porter)
