“I will never fly Spirit again”

A military fellow was sitting next to me who was coming home for 6 weeks before going back to Aphganistan. He had been traveling 21 hours and was extremely cold, tired and hungry. When I drew the attention of the flight attendant as to his needs, she started screaming at him and me that he was not in first class so didn't deserve anything.
If this is how Spirit treats our military, I have no use for Spirit.
I emailed them immediately after returning home and they didn't even respond.
In chatting with neighbors and friends, they all feel the same. They, too, will never fly Spirit as they have also had very bad experiences.
Please do not send me any promotions from Spirit as obviously I will never be flying with them.

Book tickets back in Feb 2010, when time to leave, found out are flights had been changed. Booked non-stop flight in feb with daytime or early evening arrivals and returns. Delayed 3 hrs more in
altanic City, total 5 hrs layover, airport was small and the restrooms we're filthy. Didn't arrive in Detroit till 12.00 am. Then coming back they gave us a 6.00AM flight, which is not what I booked in Febuary and that too was more costly for us. Now we had to book a hotel room near the airport seeing that we were a hour away with no traffic, so we would of had to just stay up all night, just to get our flight. The attendents didn't tell the parents to keep there children from kicking the back of our seat and yelling. In fact the attendents were more concern for themselfs to get back to there hub. What a joke if you wanted a water it was 3.00. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE FLY SPIRIT! Hope nobody has to go to the bathroom, I'm sure that will be spirits next money maker!

Nothing too special about the flight, except that a flight attendant took my friend's carry-on bag by mistake. By the time Delta figured out where the attendant was, he and the bag were en route to the West Coast. We cooled our heels in Detroit for 3 hours before being told.

My round trip flight on Delta was great. We were actually ahead of schedule on both flights! Crew and flight attendants were very friendly and courteous. All in all a very enjoyable trip.

Free baggage - good connections - mostly punctual - friendly crew - efficient and security alert. Granted snacks are sparse but drink service and refills are regularly offered. Not much room in seats but better than Air Tran but not as good as Jet Blue. Still overall if you book ahead best deal PLUS NO change fee just the difference between original fare and current fare!!!!Huge deal - that and the baggage. Kudos to Southwest! Thanks, mrp

May 29th I flew from Tampa to Detroit via Delta. There was no pre-assigned seating. As you physically checked in, then once at the gate you would receive your seating assignment.
On the return leg, business as usual.
