Lower fares may be available ...morefor Spirit's $9 fare club members. This fare only includes one small "personal item" carry-on that does not exceed 16x14x12 inches. Larger carry-on or checked baggage require an additional charge. To get this fare, you must also accept a Spirit assigned seat at check-in and print your boarding pass at home or at an airport kiosk. Choosing a specific seat or using a human airport agent requires additional charges. This fare includes Spirit.com's passenger usage fee and "unintended consequences of D.O.T. regulations fee." These fees range between $18-$38 and can be avoided by booking at an airport counter.
All mandatory taxes/fees are included in the price. Tax-inclusive fare may be a few dollars higher or lower depending on the airport you connect through, if any. Baggage fees, if applicable, and other optional fees are not included.

My husband canceled out and I knew I wouldn't get a refund so I looked forward to having two seats - Wrong! They sold the seat and I still won't get a refund :(

Departed Tampa, arrived Charlotte. No issue. On to
Chicago. No issue. On return, US Air booked me with United. Different terminal, check in, etc. Somewhat confusing as pre-check-in required different confirmation number than that provided by US Air. United flight, once on board was actually nicer than US Air. And direct flight back
to Tampa. Next time I'll go direct both ways with United.

This was a very pleasnt flight. We Departed on time and through out the trip we were kept informed of conditions. Crew was very plesant.

The flight up was fine, but I had to change gates four times to catch the flight home, and of course they were quite a walk. Also, flight was delayed almost two hours.
