Actually all four flights were fine except for the last one where we had turbulence but nothing against the crew - in fact they did a good job of getting us through the storm! Unfortunately, there is no food and on a 4 hour flight from Chicago to St Louis it would have been appreciated. NO peanuts even!!! But they did do beverage service twice which is nice since dehydration is an issue on flights. Seats could be a little more roomier but legroom wasn't bad. We got detoured out of Chicago on our flight from San Diego home but they were very accommodating to get us on a LAX connection and actually got home 20 minutes earlier!

I traveled by myself with 2 small children and the flight attendents were horrible. When asked for assistance I was told unless I had a wheelchair they couldn't help me. They were very rude and only told me to "please hurry up as others are trying to find their seats." I will NEVER fly UNITED Airlines again.

Our flight was delayed, which would have made us miss our connection in Las Vegas - by the time I got to the gate to check on what we should do, the agent already had me rebooked on a non-stop flight that would have gotten me in EARLIER than planned! They even gave one of us a low boarding number, so we could all sit together. Despite the stress of a really bad weather day requiring a lot of aggravation on their part, the ticket agents kept their sense of humor and top-quality customer service. And even though I rated seat comfort only average - Southwest's seats are no more uncomfortable than any other airline - none of them are built for comfort in coach!

We had two airlines that we used ... United & US Airways. Of course the flight attendants were very kind as usual. I wish St. Louis was a hub, though, so we could have direct flights, but we had one stop. It all worked out fine. I'm always grateful for "uneventful." (c:

The airplane was comfortable. We arrived early and had to wait for our gate. I had an empty seat next to me for both legs of the flight. Overall it was a good flight. They don't serve snacks on the plane but, you can bring your own. The attendents were friendly.

It was your normal, average, non-eventful flight which I am thoroughly thankful for! (c: Thank you! However, I do not think I will go to San Diego from St. Louis through Atlanta ever again. I thought I would save some money, but ended up not.

I was using frequent flyer miles and I did not have to pay for checking my bag which was wonderful and I had priority status for boarding which was also nice. All flights boarded and left on time and arrived on time. It was a pleasure.

We took Southwest's new non-stop service from St. Louis to San Diego and had the usual Southwest experience, few frills, but a great price plus no baggage fees - I managed to book for $64 per person one way plus taxes (!!). However, the flight crew was excellent as my 9 year-old son got sick (stomach flu) during the flight and they were right there and handled him wonderfully without most of the surrounding passengers even knowing. They didn't make a fuss, so he took it calmly, let him sit in the back for a few minutes, and checked on him after he went back to his seat. Considering it was nearly a four hour flight, and it could have seemed like the longest flight in the world, everything went great. Yes, Southwest has it's downsides like no assigned seats, but the upsides of great prices, transferable reservations with no charge, and no baggage fees, plus some of the best flight attendants in the business make it my choice for family trips.
