    Flight from St. Louis to LGA on the Sunday after Thanksgiving was on time and problem-free. Newer plane, drink & snack. Luggage was even out quickly!

    Check-in went smoothly and the flight attendants were friendly and courteous. There were some empty seats on the flight going and it was no problem to change. The return flight was full, but i had the seat that I asked for and the flight was smooth.

    My rating of Good comes with a codicil, Southwest was the least "unpleasant" to fly. Ever since Airline Deregulation, flying the friendly skies, went from a special event to the equivalent of riding a city bus with wings. With that in mind, my flights on Southwest were an o.k. experience compared to other carriers (American, United). The flight crews were cordial, and professional. I realize that we, as the flying public, may say we'd like better service from the airline industry, but the truth of the matter is, we look for the "cheapest" way to fly from Point A to Point B. This site and every other online Airfare Website cater to the flying masses, so in the end you get what you pay for.
