Flight showed on time at 4pm when left home. Was delayed three times from 7 to 9 because of parts for another plane. Missed connection in ATL, spent night there. Got to Charlotte and final destination 12 hours late, lost two different non-refundable reservations. Redirrected and delayed on way home as well. All of this non weather related 3 to 5 days after last snow.

I have yet to fly Delta and not have to either endure a delay and miss connections or rebook because of a scheduling issue they created themselves. The seats, while not benches, are not at all comfortable..even though there is padding! The in-flight service varies so much from flight to flight I really wonder if they have a consistent policy for the entire airline. One leg of a flight I took recently was great for in-flight service - I was hoping the experience would be the same for the other legs of my trip. Nope. About as inconsistent as one can get. From enthusiastic and truly customer focused to I cannot be bothered by these people on the plane. My preference is to fly other airlines first; however, there are times when I am forced, due to timing, to opt in with Delta. It is, though, always my last choice.
