    St. Louis had just experienced Tornado damage and the airport was horrible. Flight delayed due to weather, but flight and staff were great. I hope the merger doesn't damage Air Tran as I HATE Southwest.

    Wife and I went on a little Anniversary weekend flight to ATL to see Peabo Bryson!

    AirTran customer service was 1st class and gave us a complimentary Business class upgrade to Business Class; I quess being married 30 years they felt sorry for us:>) (smile)

    It was my 1st time on their Airline and I understand why Southwest bought them...AirTran has a similar feel to Southwest with their open friendly style of customer service. I will ride them again & recommend this great Airline!

    I found check in a breeze, and their staff very helpful!

    I was even able to get a complimentary upgrade to Business Class!

    Flight was 5 hours late making me miss my connection in Atlanta. Arrived so late in Gainesville, my ride couldn't pick me up until the next day.

    Be prepared to have extra money on credit card for baggage pay (we had to pay $25.00 for 1 bag)Be sure overhead bag is small enough to fit into storage. Be sure to take vitamin C daily (many on plane were coughing) and pack anitbacterial wipes in plastic bag to keep on person. Be prepared to take everything off (including jewelry, belts, etc)for scanning.

    We prefer Delta Flights because they are consistently good in all aspects. We were again not disappointed - The online check-in, including pre-paying baggage at a discount is Great! We will continue to check other airlines for better airfares but if the fares are almost the same, we will continue to fly Delta.
