I started searching for flights about 3 weeks in advance. I found the flexible date search and found awesome prices. The prices varied each day that I searched, so when they came up at $40 each way, I booked right away! No problems with check-in, lay-overs or fees.

We got a really good price on our airfare from Allegiant, in spite of their tacked-on fees for every little thing. You're allowed one carry-on and one personal item. They're pretty strict about size of carry-ons, which I actually appreciate. First two checked bags are $35 each, higher after that. Unfortunately, my suitcase did get pretty scuffed up at some point, but not enough to warrant the hassle of making claim. We hadn't flown Allegiant for a couple of years, so didn't realize that they no longer provide any kind of snack, even water...free, that is. However, they offer quite a variety of snacks - at a very premium price. Pack your own in your carry-on and buy a beverage once you've passed through security - even at airport prices you'll save money. (Or take an empty water bottle through security and fill it from the water fountain later.) Flights were fine, we arrived in one piece. Seating's a little cramped on Allegiant, but always has been. Seats on return flight didn't recline, but not much stops me from sleeping on a plane. Didn't have a need to call the flight attendant, but they were all very friendly and no doubt would've done their best if I'd had a request. Allegiant isn't my first choice for comfortable flying and I don't like the way their published fares are easily doubled once all their fees are tacked on, but if I get a significantly lower priced fare (total price) from them, I'll continue to fly Allegiant. A good bargain trumps a little inconvenience.

I paid $79 for a round trip to Vegas on Allegiant and got the roomest, thickest seats in the business. Yes, older plane. Yes, pay for toliet paper.lol. But to get the wider, thicker, leather seats for a fraction of Delta.......... Priceless!!! Biggest problem lately with Allegiant is their delayed flights but this one on time, Checked in online the day before so flew through to the gate. Love you Allegiant!!!!

The price for this flight was incredible! I don't check baggage, ever, so I am uncertain about those fees. My only complaint, if I had to make one, is that in-flight drinks were costly. At $2.00 for a can of soda, I can easily make a 2 1/2 hour flight without a drink! Same goes for snacks!

Seats were kinda tight for a 6' 6" guy . The crew was cheerful and efficient. I love the direct flight. Great value, on time, no hassle.

My 82-year-old mother takes Allegiant everywhere out of Las Vegas. They always give personalized service since she's in a wheelchair--and with pleasure at both LAS and Springfield, MO. My Laker Girl daughter also flies Allegiant out of LAX often--and always has an pleasant, uneventful, on-time flight.

The flight itself was alright. The price seemed amazing, until I found out that aisles 8 to 23 do not recline. I had to pay additional fees for a "premium" seat...i.e., one that reclines. I actually paid more for an Exit row, & that seat didn't recline.

When we got on the plane from Missouri, they had mysters going which kept us cool while we waited to take off. The flight attendants had a casual attitude, which was alright.

I missed my first flight back because it left at an unbelievable 6:30a.m. from Las Vegas, & it wasn't happening. There is only one flight per day, & from some airports not even that. They didn't even give me the $50 option to make changes before the flight. They told me it was within 24 hours, & I wouldn't get any credit for the first flight at all. Ugh. Another $160.

All in all, I will probably use their airline again, but in the end with all of the fees it isn't that much of a bargain.
