Traveling during the winter time is always tricky. Weather plays a huge part in whether you will arrive on time or be delayed. If you understand this then traveling isn't much of a hassle. My fight was delayed in South Bend for @25 minutes and arrived about a1/2 hour before my next flight. All was well because that flight was somewhat delayed. I arrived at SAT but my 1 piece of luggage didn't. Not a real problem.I packed a small overnight bag just in case. The airline called the next day saying that my luggage had arrived. We chose to pick it up instead of waiting for the delivery. They were very nice. I would fly United again. Just be prepared for anything!
