In May I flew on Iceland Air from Seattle to Stockholm (via Reykjavik), returning from Paris (via Reykjavik) back to Seattle.
The price was awesome - only $727! Which was a good $400 - $700 cheaper than other airlines.
The schedules going and returning were very convenient - nothing too early, and nothing too late. Although the connections in Reykjavik were a bit tight, everybody seemed to make it.
Iceland Air seemed to pay attention to small interesting details, such as putting Icelandic expressions and their meanings on the seat covers, the napkins, and the sandwich wrappers. They've named each plane after an Icelandic volcano, and listed information about them in their inflight magazines. There was supposedly wifi available, but since I was on vacation, I did not bring my computer with me.
My one hesitation with Iceland Air is that they fly 757's on all their routes - which means planes with only 1 aisle down the middle. This isn't really a big deal on shorter flights, but on long flights it tends to make the planes feel really small, and really cramped especially when the flight attendants are in the aisles - and especially back in economy.
But if you are prepared ahead of time for this, then I think that Iceland Air is a great option, especially with the awesome fares that they've been offering.
