Everything seemed to run smooth at Continental, even with very full and overbooked flights, everyone was loaded quickly and without hassle. We took off on time if not a little early and arrived on time or early each leg.

We were surprised that our flight included a small meal. We thought it was a fluke, that maybe there was something wrong with our plane and they were making up for it by offering us food. But it's just what they do. The food was far from outstanding, but it helped break up the long flight more, and though we came prepared with our own small meals, it was a welcome amenity.

We travel with small children and have varied experiences with different airlines and attendents. I know that one experience can't completely define an airline, but we really enjoyed Continental. They were laid back about our kids and even enjoyed them. We had a lot of turbulence on our flights and I was always worried they were going to come and tell me that the 2 children sleeping on me would have to be buckled in...and that was never an issue. (This kind of situation has been a problem for us at other times with other airlines) My children decided right before landing that they needed to go to the bathroom - and any 2 year old who says they need to go to the bathroom - has to go RIGHT now. The flight attendant wasn't laid back about this request, but they allowed it while not being rude.

I'll look to fly Continental again.
