Traveling to drop our daughter at College back east and when we arrived to check in for our tictets the automated ticket computer checked three of us in, the machine only printed out our inital boarding passes, not for the second leg of the trip. We had to go through everything at least 3 times, because there was very little help offered. When I tried to check our daughter that had a one-way ticet into the system it wouldn't pull any information up. Tried numerous times and ended up going outside to the porters area to be checked in with them. Way too many people and way too little help out there. Got to our gate just as they were boarding. Not much fun.

This flight had a 2 hours delay when I arrived at the airport, when we finally boarded we were on the tarmack another 2 and a half hours! Its became apparent there was not a pilot and copilot booked for the flight, so they pulled them from another flight. By the time they finally arrived, one of the cabin crew was over contract hours and we waited again while they found a replacement ( they couldnt see that coming 2 hours earlier?) And finally, the plane is ready, we have a crew and " now we're just waiting for the ____ cart to push the plane out" ( per pilot)
Get real! I've managed staffing before and not had this circus. From point 'A' Delta should have been anticipating every turn that could happen until they got that plane off the runway!

Fairly uneventful flight, except...EXCEPT! Our flight took-off LATE from SEA (approx. 45 min.); we landed in Dallas, late, of course...so, we missed our connecting flight to PHL: instead of leaving Dallas @ 6-something, we didn't leave until 9:35am. [Therefore, instead of arriving in PHL @ 10:45a, we got in around 1:40pm! Our boy's wedding reception began @ 4pm...thankfully, we made it!]
Hey, other than those snafus, it was a fair passage from west-to-east! :)

The trip was fine - need more room leg.
The fly team was good and attentive.
Fly was full no empty spaces -
I wanted to upgrade but couldn't because of the type of ticket - I think if you can pay you should be able to upgrade to First Class specially when you have Arhtritis and need a seat with more room.
