“Flight canceled, no notification”

So far AirFranc/Delta has canceled our October flight from Paris to Seattle with no notification to us, rebooked us on another flight on a different day without contacting us, did not assign us seats, (we found out all of this when we did a check on our seat assignments). After getting this straightened out as best we could (half day lost), we checked the flight a week later and this time they moved us to two middle seats. Expensive tickets purchased months ago. I am not impressed.

Air France really goes above and beyond what Americans have come to expect from an airline. Several meals were served on the 10-hour flight, and wine is complementary. They also provide a self-service beverage cart with water, juice, and other soft drinks throughout the flight.

Air France does a ver nice job on intercontinental flights. The seats are ok, the entertainment package is versatile, and the beverages and meals are above average. The flight attendants were very accomodating.

I could not believe how old those planes are! No individual TV for passengers. They distributed headset. Half of them were not working.
Then the TV...did not work in my row. After 30 min, I asked and I said that I could move to first class then to watch TV...at that point, they got to TV working. It was a miracle :-)
Flight attendants...you can just tell that they hate their job! Smile was not included I gues...Northwest was offering a better service back then. Maybe the merge was not such a good idea.

Flight attendents on strike and fight cancelled. Spent 10hrs in Heathrow with the rudest people I met in my ! month stay in Europe. That airport should be AVOIDED when ever you travel.I am returning to Europe next year and had planed to spend sometime in England, well thats off the table. Wife was felt up by fat eastern european guard. Had to go through check lines and bags search three times both going and coming. We are both in our middle 60"s and look it. Took small amounts of shampoo that had already cleared. Rude Rude people and mostly from eastern europe countys.Am going to write London paper.

Air France/Delta partnership. AF to Paris,D back.Delayed Lufthansa flight, jammed both flight passengers into very small waiting area. Boarding swift and easy. Tiny leg room, excellent food, air vents on side of seats did not feel effective, staff kind, courteous, Customs OK both leaving USA & entering France.
Customs a pain leaving France-5 passport checks, nothing more than usual metal detector,bag,shoe coat etc. Delta older plane, tiny bit more leg room, fine staff-consistent drink,snack service. SLC customs not too bad. Slow, usual checks plus 3(?) passport checks. Due to Airport design had to go through security twice. Dumb deal, could be easily fixed. All in all an acceptable experience.
