My husband and I had a great flight on Delta out to Seattle from Indianapolis, connecting in Minneapolis. However, returning on American we were miserable. The seats were smaller and the "arm rest" do not raise and this made a big difference. We will not be flying on American again as we make this trip often.

On our flight home from Seattle, we had a layover in Denver. About 40 minutes after takeoff from the Denver airport, the piolot announced that we were retuning to the Denver airport due to a pressure gauage malfunciton. As we pulled up to the gate, it was announced that mechanics were going to look at the issue and that we would be kept informed. We sat at the gate about two hours with peiodic updates of the status, we were provided free TV and permission to use rest rooms. After the repair we were back in the air.I felt that this was handled respectfully and with good customer service.

The free cookies on Frontier are a plus and there was a flight attendant who made the regulatory safety instruction a fun experience!

Arrived in Seattle and attempted to check in at a United kiosk. The information provided indicated our flight had been changed due to a cancellation. We requested assistance and the agent at the desk became very defensive, indicating NO flights had been cancelled and we were OBVIOUSLY mistaken. Upon further examination, it was our connecting flight that had been cancelled, causing a rebooking of our entire trip that day. None the less, the agent refused to listen and/or provide assistance. We were finally directed to another line to receive assistance with our situation.

The flight attendant on the initial leg of our journey scowled at us throughout the flight. This appeared to be related to the fact we were flying with our special needs child. Our child was quiet and well mannered, but because she was engrossed in viewing her newest movie, did not JUMP when the flight attendant served food or drinks. The flight attendant made it very clear in her behavior throughout the flight that this was clearly an inconvenience for her. Her frequent scowls were extremely disconcerting, certainly not an endearing quality.

Due to scheduling delays, our connecting flight was going to be significantly delayed. We were able to board an earlier flight on standby, however, this left our daughter without dinner--becoming cranky because she was increasingly hungry and tired due to the length of our journey. None the less, the flight attendants on the connecting flight were significantly more understanding and helpful than the flight attendant on the initial journey.

I would like to identify one set of employees that were very much appreciated. Due to the fact we were flying standby and had a very short layover, we did not expect to receive our luggage at our destination. Imagine to our delight, all of our suitcases arrived with us! Our thanks to the staff involved with United baggage throughout our journey who made this happen! This level of service was OUTSTANDING!

Overall things were fine. However, initially the flight attendants was not helpful at all. Then as the flight went on things got better. We had very short layover that turned into a very long layover due to weather.
