The weather caused flights to be delayed, understood. However, after a four hour delay other airlines began taking off from DFW to their destination one after another. Flights were arriving And departing except for the American airline terminal where there were planes at the gate but no pilots. Going on 8 hrs one AA flight was departing to Cleveland OH but no room causing yet another delay this time including an overnight stay in the airport which is another comPlaint in itself. AA stated there were no vouchers to be given for the inconvenience bt I feel they were clearly responsible after 8 hrs of delays and the reason why no AA flights were leaving is because AA DIDN'T HAVE PILOTS ON HAND TO FLY THESE PLANES THAT WERE SITTING AT THE GATES.... weather was only the initial delay. I Am completely dissatisfied with their reasoning and lack of scheduling. Causing my travel to be delayed long after the weather was no longer the issue .
