“Late departure, late arrival, then late departure once again”

The plane was 2 hours late coming in from MIA to SJU on our departure date from San Juan to Miami. That started a domino effect, because our arrival at MIA was obviously late and our flight to MCO was missed. But, as we were arriving at MIA the Captain (he was very informative) told us that we were going to have to take a few rounds in the air, because there was a lot of congestion at the airport. After 20 minutes the plane finally touchdowned. On the tarmac the Captain informed us that we were going to wait another 15 to minutes before we could get to the assigned gate. The problem... they were waiting for someone to prepare the arriving gate. in reality it took about 35 minutes. And after finally deplaning we didn't stop until we got to the gate were the MIA-MCO plane was departing, and thank God we didn't. Because the plane was just closing its doors and no one informed us about that (it was the last flight of the night for that route). A 4 1/2 hour flight took nearly 8 to complete. Not recommended.

I was flying with my dog for whom I payed $140.00 for the RT, and the less I expected was to have her on my lap, but she had to fly under my front seat which was VERY uncomfortable for me and my dog, because the space was to tight and my legs were killing me, I had surgery in both knees just few weeks before and this was too much for me, and to make it worse once I got to Florida and got my wheelchair it was broken,, at least my wheelchair was fixed but my experience with airtran will not be forgotten, I will never ever fly again with airtran and will not recommend it. By the way on my day back home I asked for some more water and the fly attendant just said please give me a break there are more passengers asking me for something,, I was surprised but I decide to wait,, she never gave me nothing..

On time,confortable seats and nice perssonel.The pilot was well informative of the weather condition and alert us of bumpy ride because storm Nicole in our route.

Great price. Airplane not clean. Check in machines weren't working. The counter employees were great. Average service in the cabin.
