    Circled for about an hour, pilot decided to come in through the storm, tipped side to side for a few minutes, excellent pilot, landed safely. Southwest is the best airline.

    I hadn't flown Southwest in a few years and was pleasantly surprised that the "Cattle Call" for seats had been eliminated.

    One weird thing that did happen at San Jose Airport was that I had forgotten that I had put a large tube of hand lotion in my carry-on bag. I assumed they were going to pull it out and make me throw it away and resigned myself to that as I was going through security. They did nothing! It passed through without a hitch and it was in an obvious place in my bag.

    It actually worried and disappointed me that they didn't catch it.
