We expected more, because Virgin just introduced the route.
Wrong!
Same old commodity treatment.
It would be nice if Mr. Branson took a page out of Lufthansa Air.
Sadly, it was much closer to Ryanair, a cattle carrier.
We had another travel leg on JetBlue: better seats, better treatment!
NO more Virgin Air, thank you veddy much, Mr Branson.

The flight - no doubt because of the Thanksgiving holiday the day before - was more than fully booked and perhaps because of that boarding seemed extremely slow. We left the gate about 15 or 20 minutes late but in the end made up the time and were on time in Newark. Flight crew was relatively cheerful and I was spared the 'baby section' which was in the rear of this flight. My son had to endure it and might rate the flight lower.

Although airlines want you to travel with them to collect miles they are not very generous with their free miles when you attempt to get across this country. Door to door was 18 and a half hours with three changes of planes and several hours of waiting time between flight connections. Very frustrating. We are faithful to the airlines, but they are not faithful to their paying customers. Jean Krachenfels

Haven't flown Continental (usually fly United) in a long time so am really impressed. Very professional, efficient crew from the people at the gate to the in-flight crew. Left on time, arrived on time. Hope the merger means that United will learn some things from Continental!

I have never flown with a Crew so old and unfriendly. I don't know if I ever saw them smile...it seemed like we were an inconvenience! The head flight attendant was all business, not extremely personable, but she worked hard. Other attendants were talking negatively about her within earshot of passengers...so unprofessional.
The two bathrooms for coach were smelly and very busy. Can't the airlines put more bathrooms in, it's ridculous!
