I would have given Delta a five but they do charge for baggage so it's only a four. After having flown in economy on United and been shocked at how little space there is now, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Delta was not cramped and the in-seat TV's were nice. They also still give free drinks and snacks. Of course, if you want a meal you have to pay for it. Both flights segments were on time and overall, I was very pleased and will fly Delta again.

Virgin America is one of my favorite airlines. They have great in flight entertainment, both free dish TV and movies and TV on demand. You can pre order your food options and pay before hand so that when the flight attendants come around to offer beverages, they will hand you your order.

I'm tall so there is no airline that offers comfortable seating in economy class, so they get a 2 for seat comfort. other than that, they're a great airline.

    Happy Travels!

What more can be said than the crew at Jet Blue did it again! This overnight flight began with a top-notch and painless check in (including one free bag) and continued right through boardin, flight time, and arrival at JFK. The crew was ever-diligent to the passengers making the flight most enjoyable. On time departure and early arrival were perfect bookends to a wonderful flight experience.

Flight went exactly as planned, service was professional, information was provided when necessary. Terminals were new, modern, and clean. Legroom was OK - not impossibly cramped and not luxurious. Appreciated being in a row of two - not sitting with a stranger crowding us.

My first trip on Virgin America was basically a good one. The flight to New York was on time, the seats were comfortable and the service was good. I especially like the lighting. It is relaxing. The only complaint I had was that I am signed up for the Virgin Alerts and did not receive one that my return flight had been delayed 3 hours until I arrived at the airport. Of course I understand they don't want to delay flights until it's absolutely necessary but I think the alert should have been issued earlier because the weather was a factor all day. Hanging around the airport is not a lot of fun but we made the best of it.

I was not impressed with the flight attendants on this flight. They repeatedly told the passengers to secure the overhead luggage and sit down so we could take off. They did not try to help nor did they go through and make a check that all overhead luggage was secure. They just kept saying in an irritated voice to "secure the luggage and sit down so the plane can depart."

I understand that people today do not listen, and are not always as cooperative as they should be. But the flight attendants should have tried to help as some passengers were having a hard time finding space. Also they gave us earphones that were a joke. If I have a choice I won't fly American again.

Flying on JetBlue from start (making a reservation) to finish (landing after a flight) is as good as it gets on a domestic airline nowadays. The airline is tops for service, and if one makes a reservation far enough in advance, the price is right too.

On 9/22/10, I flew from San Francisco to New York City(JFK) via American Airlines on a non-stop flight. I have flown many times before, but usually not on American. I was very impressed with the service I received from the flight attendants. They were generally very friendly and helpful which enhanced the experience. We left a little late, but arrived early. I would definitely fly American again.

This was my first trip on Virgin. I usually fly JetBlue or United. I enjoyed my flight very much. The seats are comfortable and the in-flight service was very good. One thing I loved was the lighting. It was like sitting in a nice cocktail lounge. It really makes you feel very relaxed. I would definitely recommend Virgin America.

I was disappointed in the lack of communication between fly crew & passengers. Sat on the tarmac for an hour with no explanation. They also cut off the TV system while we waited, again no explanation. Oh well at least the air was still on while we waited.

I was in seat 19A on Delta flight 2040. It seemed fine until they closed the airplane door which cut off all my leg room. This was an exit row...but who knew that the door jutted out and took up all the room. This seat is not fit for a dog! The response from Delta is that I have the opportunity to select my seat on their website. Gee, thanks!

Flew Delta from SFO to JFK in mid-July. I had checked in the night before so I had my boarding pass already. NOWHERE on any of the airport monitors could I find the gate for departure. I was traveling with my 5 year old and at 15 minutes before the supposed boarding time I began to panic that maybe we were in the wrong terminal or just the wrong place altogether. Finally asked another gate attendant and she knew right away where the gate was...Why wasn't it on the board though? What a hassle. The flight was fine overall. I think their boarding style is ridiculous though. Doesn't it make sense to put the people in the back of the plane on first?? This crazy zone system is so random.

Don't even get me started on their useless frequent flyer program!!

Easy checkin, did carryon bag but once in the waiting they asked for some people with carryons to check them at no cost since the flight was full so I did that and was then allowed to board early for volunteering (yay!). Ordered a wrap on-board which was decent (but a bit pricey). The on-board service was stellar, seat amenities the best what with movies, TV, free games (improved my Doom score) and best of all, power to plug in your electronics! LOVE VIRGIN. The whole vibe on-board is calm and made for knowledgable frequent travelers. I'll be back.

Not only did Virgin staff gate-check our bag, which we were too cheap to check in, they allowed people with no carry-on bags to board right after first class passengers and families with children under 12, BEFORE the people with suitcases, who block the aisle and hog all the overhead luggage space! Why don't all airlines do this? Only complaint: the arm rests have a big indentation for the audio controls so you can't rest your arms on them! Didn't anyone notice this?

My daughter and I just flew to New York City last week (5-25 to 5-29).

When we left San Francisco, I noticed that all passengers without roller bags were allowed to board first. This sped things up alot and gave those of us with smaller storage needs a fair chance.

The Captain and crew kept us up to date during our flight. We had to detour alittle because of a storm.

I just love flying Virgin America. In comparison to it's competitors, the planes are outstanding, the food is edible (actually not too bad) and the crew is very nice.

My flight was cheap because that's what I wanted. It was on time both ways. Had to pay $20 for stored luggage. No snacks unless you paid for them except for water and soft drinks, which was fine. No complaints. I will fly with VA again if I get the fare I am looking for.
