The day after I bought my ticket, Aifrarewatchdog sent me a link to the same flight for $75 less! The flight was fine, I slept the whole way. Be forewarned: in flight food service is very limited- peanuts or pretzles with pringles for purchase. Pack a snack!

The events went smoothly. Service was minimal; I miss an offer of coffee late in the flight. As I remember the flight was described as having in-flight entertainment. I brought large headphones but not an iPod. However, there was no in-flight audio or video. My standard complaint is about the seat space. I'm 5'11" and it is difficult to impossible to reach something that I drop on the floor. This was made worse by a reclining passenger in front of me. Even holding a magazine to read or eating something on the tray-table are affected. There is certainly no accommodation for those of us who need 'long arms'. I don't think seats should recline unless I have more room. I sleep just fine in a plane without reclining. Maybe airlines or airplane manufacturers should talk to La-Z-Boy about a new seat design.

The flight was good, on time, service was good. But(t) the seat was very hard! (-: You go United for on time arrival, we vere 40 minutes early.

For $8, I got a "premium" (albeit economy) seat. Love that. However, on the return leg, that "premium" "window" seat did not in fact have a window, so I felt a bit cheated. Still worth $8 to sit near the front of the plane, though. Everything seamless, organized, pleasant.

This flight was better than I expected. The seating was roomy in economy and we had a very smooth flight. Only annoyance was that I got to the airport for my return flight very early (went with a friend leaving on an earlier flight) and was notified when I got my boarding pass that the flight was overbooked and they might need people willing to be bumped. However, when I tried to get details, I was passed from the front line agents to one gate agent to a service desk agent, all of whom told me that they couldn't do anything until about 1 hour before the flight. This was not much help, since many of the other Delta flights to SFO with open seats were leaving BEFORE my scheduled flight. When it was finally an hour before my flight, the agent said they were no longer overbooked. So why even bother giving me the notification on check in when no one could do anything about it (e.g. book me on an earlier flight and compensate me) and the status of the flight changed long before it was scheduled to depart. Just seems like unnecessary information to feed passengers. Better to leave it to an announcement at the gate.

We took a nonstop evening flight from SFO to MSP. The flight was full. Unlike our flight to SFO several days earlier, the airline staff made some attempt to control the amount of luggage people carried onboard. They also attempted to control the surge of people who ringed the jetway entrance when the first groups were called to board. I appreciated this because I find it frustrating to have to force my way through the crowd when it's my turn to board. Now if only Delta would get a new safety video--the woman with the giant lips creeps me out!
