    InFlight crew SFO to MKE provided slow service and minimal interaction. Return crew, MKE to SFO, was outstanding. Thus, the average rating. As a former Pan Am F/A and supervisor at both PAA and UAL, I know how such interaction with customers can make or break a flight. I generally enjoy AirTran very much, and will continue to fly them whenever the price is right.

    Friendly, reasonable service. I loved the non-stop flight to Milwaukee. I'll fly with Air Tran again, even though I had to drive from Sacramento.

    I was impressed by the leg room on AirTran.

    All staff was helpful and friendly, not acting burnt out.

    On line check in was a waste of my time, I got their and my seat choice, etc. wasn't registered.

    Leg room was reasonable for coach compared to the bigger airlines. Food offered was of excellent quality and reasonable cost ($6-$7). Their chocolate chip cookies were a nice treat. They just need to add milk!

    First of all, AirTran has good prices.Second, it takes reservations and will work with you to get the seating you want. Unfortunately, their helpfulness is inconsistent-it depends on who you talk to. Some give you all the information; others the absolutely bare minimum. Third, do not buy anything to eat on the plane, or any savings on ticket prices will be gone.

    Also the staff personality on the plane is changeable,super rude one time, and then super pleasant and helpful the next. Don't forget, attitudes like this trickle down from the top to the bottom.

    Good trip. I would suggest that they not charge $6.00 for the map of where the plane is. That should be FREE.

    My tray did not pull out and the seat was not comfortable at all. I try not to complain too much if at all but this tray and seat were not something to be proud of...
