Two Hour Delay on Late Night Flight = Chaos!

Return flight departed 30 minutes late & made an unscheduled stop in Salt Lake to refuel. Ultimate delay of 2 hours. Missed my pre-scheduled shuttle and had to procure a rental car to drive myself home exhausted in the middle of the night. JetBlue seems to have frequent delays on its cross-country flights.

Virgin America is where it's at! I would fly no other airline, unless, of course, they weren't going where I needed to go.

From the moment I spoke with the first service employee to the moment I landed, going each way, the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Smiles, for real; not fake. You got the sense that they really like their job! Easy check-in. No fuss. Pleasant. Wanted to change seats coming back: no problem!

And the MOST COMFORTABLE SEATS I've ever sat in, EVER, on any airline! Large, plenty of room; soft, cushy. Plenty of leg room. So much space. And again, friendly staff. They were all so nice.

And! The best coffee I've ever had on any flight, ever!

I recommend Virgin America to anyone who wants a most pleasant experience on an airline, from check-in, to on-board, to final landing and exiting the plane.

    Yes! To Virgin America.

In spite of the negative weather predictions on the East Coast, our flight being delayed for an hour, we were able to make up the lost time flying SFO to BOS in just five hours!!! Because of this, our wonderful flight attendant announced MOVIES ON THE HOUSE!!! Yipee!!! Truly, superior customer service with a HOLIDAY SMILE!!!

The computer setup with movies, news, satellite tv and food and drinks at your fingertips with instant service cannot be beat. The dry humor employed at any opportunity and the personal message by the pilot delivered by a modulated communication system caused relaxation and how can that be beat.

Cool airlines, many cool features especially for kids, only found the seating uncomfortable. Was looking forward to falling asleep using the window sidewall but there is such a huge space between the seat and the sidewall you could not lean against it and the seats do hardly recline. Plane was half-hour + late - those were the only complaints

So I'm sitting in my seat, my one carry-on (average size backpack) in the stowaway above me and on come some late passengers. Of course by now the overhead is totally full and what does the (male) flight attendant do? He starts smashing the luggage in the overhead to make room for the late people's luggage. HEY KNUCKLEHEAD, I have breakable stuff in there (as does anyone, where else do you store your camera, ipod, rtc.?). I realize you Mr Flight Attendant are trying to help a customer but smashing the other customers luggage (BTW the luggage of those of us who were on time for the flight) is RUDE. Please stop and treat others property as you would your own.

BTW the flight was so packed that the person checking u sin asked for 12 volunteers to checkin their baggage so ohters could fit. Seems to me the late arrivers should have been forced to checkin their bags.

Would prefer not to fly United, but did so because of miles. Check in is inefficient as is boarding the plane. Then, while on the plane, it is uncomfortable & something to be endured. The only good thing about United (occasionally) are some nice personnel.

Loved the ordering-from-your-seat option. Made me feel less at the mercy of specific meal times. The seatback entertainment options (some tv and then treated myself to a movie) worked as advertised (have had some trouble with JB's seatback entertainment units on multiple occasions, so I'm always wary). Staff professional, flight smooth, and absolutely loved taking off from the SFO International terminal. Such comfortable and pretty gates.

got seated between 2 women , each had a dog. One woman placed her dog at my feet ( the middle seat) when I questioned her she said "where do you expect me to put it?" when I pay for a seat I expect the whole space. The flight attendant told me I should carry an epipen and that the women had paid extra for the dogs. As a traveller with allergies, I believe I have rights too!

As is usual these days, full planes are like buses. Every nook and cranny is used to accomondate carry-ons, with many having to be checked planeside, delaying departures. On one of the legs, a male flight attendant was carrying around peoples' heavy bags, and I worried about work-related injury and disability payments, which can only lead to more expensive fares.

I flew a red-eye flight from San Fran to Boston and had one of the best flight ever. Check in was a breeze in San Diego (where I originated) and the flight attendants were professional and actually seemed to enjoy themselves. I upgraded for $99 to first class and it was worth every penny.

The lighting made you feel like you were in an uber-swank boutique hotel and the seats almost fully reclined which made for a very relaxing and restful flight. Something you can't say about many flights nowadays.
