“It got me there and it was a reasonable price”

I won't complain because I got a great deal and I got from point A to B and back again. Our trip home was hectic. Our flight in Charlotte was delayed due to mechanical reasons. I would rather us be late and delayed than have issues in the air, an emergency landing or crash due to mechanical reasons. But it did mess up our connecting flight in DFW and we had to stay the night. AA set us up with a hotel room and breakfast the next morning, but it is never fun when you are planning to be home in your own bed. Nor is it fun to have to wear dirty clothes the next day. Our flight from DFW to SLC was interesting. As we were getting on the flight, the same exact carry ons that we had taken on 3 legs of our trip was suddenly too big according to the ticket agent as we were getting on the plane. She took 2 of our bags to check. What bothered me was that people in front of us and people who got on after us were able to carry on items the same exact size (same brand of luggage and everything). I would do it again. My family was able to take a vacation across the country and back again safely.
