Before we had even taken our trip our return flight has changed at least two different times and the airline was not accomodating as to our original time we were to fly back home. Our original flight had us home at around 7:30pm. Our final flight from Frontier had us coming home at 11:00 pm. If you wanted to fly home earlier for a stand by flight they charge just for being considered a standby.

At both ends of the flight, the staff seems overwhelmed. Coincidence? This airline seems slightly better than most carriers, and thats not saying much with most carriers (in my opinion) is worst than average. I'm a giant man, and like most people I travel for price first, comfort second. On this flight they used the Airbus A619, three on each side. at over 6.4 the seats were just adequate. Of course, I was given the prized center seat. Much more rooms than most airlines... The downside: not only being charged for baggage, being charged for TV. I will fly frontier again but they are no Jetblue.

Although Southwest tends to be crowded in my experience I really appreciate that they don't charge for bags and their ticket prices are a bargain. They offered us complimentary, non-alcoholic beverages and peanuts on all of our flights and the flight attendants were delightful. The seats are small, but our flights were short and I didn't mind. The bathrooms were a wee bit stinky on one of the flights, but what are you gonna do?

My husband has respiratory problems and needs a wheelchair service to get him through the airports and down the ramp to the plane. The service people were so helpful. They even helped him remove his shoes and put them back on him. In Denver, they refused our attempts to tip them for their help. If you have flown to or from Denver, you know the distance getting here to there can be very long. When I reminded the desk that he would need a wheelchair to get down the ramp, the lady took our tickets and re-seated us closer to the airplane door, so my husband wouldn't have to walk so far to the wheelchair on our arrival. Our Grandson had sent us a "flat Daniel" school project. A picture of his head on a big paper doll that had been mailed to us and we were to help "Flat Daniel" have adventures while in our care. The pilots let Daniel into the cockpit and had their picture taken with "flat Daniel". The flight attendants were also to take time to have their pictures taken. We will check fares on Frontier first when we travel again. Jim and Rosada Koshak
