The flight down went as scheduled on time. I switched the flight back to a non-stop 1 1/2 hours earlier with no problem and no charge.

the trip to tampa was ok but on the return we arrived at the airport to learn that our flight was delayed and we wouldn't be able to make our connection in Dulles. the united rep that i spoke to at our gate was rude and refused to help us change our flights because she was "going to lunch". Instead she sent us back out past security to the front counter for united. There were at least 40 irate people in that line and it wasn't moving. we waited for two hours and there were still many people in front of us so we pulled out the laptop and booked a different flight on airtran and left. It cost us another $500! We found united understaffed and rude at the Tampa airport!!!!

I resent having to pay extra for my bag, and I especially resent paying extra to reserve my seat online. Their planes have the smallest and most cramped seats in the business, especially compared to JetBlue, and all you get for snacks is a tiny bag of pretzels. The only thing I like about AirTran is the non-stop flight from Rochester to Tampa. The price is no bargain, by the time they finish picking your pocket with and extra $40 for your golf bag and $12 for selecting your seat online. Tell your friends at AirTran that I will pay more to take USAir or JetBlue. At least the seats are wider.

I had not traveled by plane is some time and was anxious at first since there has been so many changes in the airline industry. I soon realized that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and was satisfied with the service I received.

The flight was a non-stop and I would recommend non-stop to everyone if the flight is available. The price was the same as if I had a lay over, so instead of taking 5-6 hrs., it only took just over 2 1/2 hrs.

We left on time and even arrived home a little early on our return flight. Air Tran is an airline that gived good value for the money spent. We especially like the fact that we can fly non-stop between Rochester and Tampa.
