“Could have been a great experience”

Flights down were good. Flights back changed due to storm. Agents at ticket counter were rude, unhelpful and provided incorrect info several times. Whatever happened to customer service? And do these people actually know how to smile and respond professionally when asked a question? Wow! One of my worst experiences ever! The actual flights were fine.

“A couple of bumps in our travel”

Not being a frequent flyer of the skies, it was upsetting when I was charged an additional $25.00 for putting my granddaughter's small luggage carrier(which only carried her blanket and pillows) under the plane, instead of carrying it on the plane with us.
I don't like feeling I am being taken advantage of by people who work at the airlines for a living. I feel they should make the consumer experience as pleasant as possible.
Another thing, the air line lost our luggage on our return flight. Good thing we paid the little additional fee just for this purpose.
I was greatful that our pilot made a safe landing when we hit bumpy weather on our return flight.

Our first-time flying AirTran was a very pleasant surprise. Worth the two-hour drive to Roc. airport from home. Flight attendants were pleasant - acted liked they actually liked people, flight got in early, decent snacks. Just very well-run. I will definitely book AirTran again, despite the distance to its closest airport.

Airtran left on time from Rochester, NY and Orlando, NY (which was great!) Even though we had severe winds on our return to Rochester, the pilots landed without difficulty. We applauded after we had landed. Great job Airtran!

I have flown Many many times using the same suitcase and this time the woman(who was miserable) said it was 1/2 to an inch to big! So it cost me $50 to fly this suitcase! She was also the same person directing our flight to the runway. This SAME suitcase on the way home had no issues!!!! The Guy never even measured it! SO because of this one grumpy woman-- I wont be flying Air Tran AGAIN!
