Flight RIC to LGA fine, no problems. Return flight LGA-RIC in air after two hour delay when USAirways LGA personnel lied about delay. Instead of straight-forwardly saying delay was due to bad weather in Pittsburg, we were told for almost two hours that the plane was about to land but it never did; we were told tarmac time to take off was going to be 2 1/2 hours when we could see the line of planes moving steadily. We were told to rebook for the next day -clearly because of cancellations they were overbooked and lied to get rid of people! When our plane finally arrived, it turned around in about 20 minutes, and pilots and steward were very apologetic and nice about it.
