This was our first time flying, so we weren't sure how we were going to enjoy flying Southwest with their general seating policy. We were very pleased with our experience and would definitely fly with Southwest again. The flight was problem-free with only a little bit of turbulence (which can't be helped). The snacks left something to be desired (peanuts or pretzels), but the flight was under 2 hours, so we didn't expect more. Check-in at RDU was smooth and quick, but took a little longer in Orlando since it's a much bigger airport. We were able to get into the "A" group on our flight to Orlando and sat together towards the front of the plane. On the way back to Raleigh, we were in the "B" group since I waited 12 hours after the initial login time to check-in for our boarding passes. We were still able to sit together at the back of the plane despite my delay. Overall, a great experience and we'd recommend Southwest.

Service was fine. The seat and leg room were barely adequate, and I'm not very heavy or tall; I think a really tall or heavy person would be uncomfortable in these seats.

Flew with my daughter and grandchildren (ages 6 and 8) to Orlando for Mother's Day at DisneyWorld. This was my grandchildren's first flight. Both ways: check-in was easy, seats were comfortable, service was just fine. We were kept informed of thunderstorms on the way in, and the reason for the delay on the way home. No complaints.

I am not a frequent flyer, far from it. I only fly on vacation: once, maybe twice a year. I always fly Southwest. Their "bags fly free" program and their consistently lower fares bring me back every time. The crew is always friendly, seats are roomy enough. I admit I have little experience with other airlines, but with Southwest, I like what I get for the money, every time.
