American airlines seems to be the better of most airlines in condition, comfort and appearance of their planes. The only glitch in the entire experience was my return flight from LGA to RDU - the pilot timed out and a replacement had to be flown in from Charlotte to NY to fly the plane to Raleigh - seems a bit senseless to me causing a delay in our departure time. But in the long run, it was one of the better flights I have taken in awhile and will definitely make American my carrier of choice in the future.

Everyone was very helpful and professional despite some problems with using the gate. There was a slight delay boarding but it did not affect our arrival time.

delta needs to have at least one bag free. more people are carrying on luggage and makes boarding harder. everyone needs luggage when they go on a trip.

Upon our departure the computer system was down, causing us to almost miss our flight as the lines were very long. On our return we boarded 30 mins late and sat on the runway for almost 2 hours while they claimed they were waiting for an engineer to sign off on a maintenance issue.

Flight was as expected, but the boarding and deplaning procedures at LaGuardia for US Airways are difficult. They do not use jet bridges. One has to descend a flight of stairs from the plane, then wait for luggage unprotected on the tarmac, and then climb a flight of stairs with luggage into the terminal. If it is raining or snowing or extremely hot or cold, you are out of luck. This was US Airways express. The American Eagle terminal at LGA is much more comfortable for deplaning and boarding.

Good flight. It was full, but on time without any incidences. I'm not crazy about small airplanes, but American Eagle was a comfortable ride.
