I always try to fly JetBlue if I can, even if they are a little more expensive, but they usually are the cheapest.

You always get one checked bag free which is important for me when I travel for dance competition and have to bring a lot of hair supplies that are not under 3 oz.

They also have great entertainment (although I usually forget to bring my headphones) on every flight, even the short 1 hour flight to NY from NC. And they have great snacks that again you get on every flight.

Love their customer service as well. I booked my flight and the next day the price dropped. I called up customer service and they happily credited the difference back to me for use on future flights, which is just fine for someone like me who flies often. Might be unhelpful for someone who is not a big traveler.

Flights left and arrived on time. Long walk from gate to street and vice versa. A surprise when I tried to carry on my roller bag, they put it on the plane with no fee. If I had checked it, I would have had to pay $25. Tis is a non advertised little secret.
