All flights returning home late. No advance notice. Nothing to eat - not even a pretzel. Aiports noisy & uncomfortable when you are stuck there.

When I saw that we had the option to pay extra for more legroom, I thought it was absurd. Now that we have flown round trip from RDU to Denver, I might actually consider it the next time.
Apparently, the airlines have left some of the seats as they were and charge more for those with the legroom. The rest of the seats seem to have been moved closer together. I would hate to be on a REALLY long flight in such tight quarters.
We did like the service we received aboard the aircraft .. the flight attendants were great and the flights were smooth, except for the take-off in Denver, but that was due to high winds.
