first upon checkin no one noticed my seat preference was aisle and agent assigned window seat. then I was handed a book on overbooking to read and told my connection from clt to mco was oversold and that someone would explain it to me when I landed in clt. So I was left to worry. Upon boarding prov to clt flight I then realized the seating dilema I then went up to the stewardess and showed her where it clearly said I had reserved an aisle seat. I explaied that I get claustrophobic if not seated on the aisle, she quite rudely, and unsympothetically brushed me off. she stated that it was a preference and that the flight was full annd I needed to be seated or get off the plane. I then found another worker who seemed at least willing to hear me she directed me back to the stewardess ad said that the stewardess should be able to help me . Of course this just angered the stewardess that I was back and not in my seat so she was even ruder this time I decided I was getting nowhere and went to my seat mumbling to myself about the dreadful service, at wich point I beleive the stewardess threatend to remove me from the aircraft. when I got to my seat now someone else was in it so she made me sit in that persons seat. As if that wasnn't enough when I landed in clt I had an hour layover so I immediately went for info about this oversold deal, I was then told that they were oversold but I would be allowed on the plane unless I wanted to give up my seat for another plane 6hrs later. the two women at the gate said I would be all said, gave me a boardig pass and said we'd board@430p. Then @415 I started to hear rumblings in the crowd that we wouldn't be on time there were plenty of announcements asking for vol to give up their seats but no annoucements of any delay, also no updates on any of the boards or computers. When I approached the staff They confirmed the delay stating we had no captain to fly the plane. I did finally board the plane @ 5pm but the boards never were updated so my family was going online and it said flt on time(all the airport tvs said the same) and not one announcement was ever made. The new crew for this flight told us they were all called in from home (including the captain), that the whole other crew was detained. This crew was much nicer. However I do not think I will be flying us air again.

Flight was delayed over two hours which put a strain on people picking us up at the airport. We did not get into Providence until after 1:00 a.m.
