Trip delayed out of PVD. Would miss connection to MKE out of ORD. Called United, asked to scratch ORD to MKE. We could get ride from ORD. She said no problem as delay was United's and I was doing them a favor. Went to board at PVD......no reservation!!! She deleted my entire outbound flight. Gate agent not very understanding. Had to bump standby's to get our seats back. 24 hour check in on Sun for return on Mon.......check in blocked!!! Had to call United again to unblock check in so I could get our seat tickets. Hard to understand United's customer service agents. They could not answer any questions about my flight and why I was being punished for their delay.
