Doesn't matter that you have an assigned seat...your overhead compartment will be filled up if you board with zone 4. Such a pain. When asking flight attendants before boarding they agreed and said they didn't think it was fair either "it's just the newest rules". Aside from that, good flight. ANd got some snacks. Just very tedious to not have overhead storage for all 4 legs of my flights (To/From)

Our first experience flying Southwest in many years, but I would recommend it to friends who are looking to fly from PROVIDENCE RI to FT MYERS FL.
The flights were on time - even earlier than scheduled to arrive - and the flight attendents were most cordial and helpful. The seats were comfortable and the storage area adequate. We paid $10 for earlybird checkin which I would suggest....no problem choosing a seat we wanted.
I wish they flew to other areas we travel to....like Portland ME.
