Clean cabin. Comfortable seats.Wx delay leaving BWI not US Air's fault. Cabin crews had nice sense of humor. The boarding sequence prevents a crowd formation at the rampway.

Southwest has never been my favorite airline, but with the cost of flights into National and Dulles climbing higher than the planes recently, I've flown SW on my past few flights to D.C. The flight was OK, but the best part was the new Early Bird option. For $10 each way, I don't have to worry about getting back to a computer (or my daughter's iPhone) 24 hours prior to check in and nab an "A" seating position. I heard a few grumbles on the return flight from people (non-Early Birds) who had gone online soon after the 24-hour mark and still ended up with a "B." Since SW doesn't limit the number of pax who purchase the Early Bird option, I can't help but wonder what would happen if the majority on a particular flight paid their $10 and still ended up in the "C" group. Now THAT would be interesting.
