I like SWA they NEVER charge you for bags, the 2 we checked were delivered to the baggage area in a timely fashion.
We chose to do our check in 24 hours in advance. This allowed us to be in the first boarding group and get the seats we wanted.
The airline is still efficient but seems to have lost their delightful sense of humor. We miss those comedic stewardess.
I felt safe as all the plans had been re inspected and we suffered no flight delays.

We always use this airline. Southwest goes out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. Luggage is STILL free (that can really inflate another airlines ticket price). You can get earlier seating if you print your boarding passes early and get to the airport on time. And, sorry but 12 and older shouldn't need priority seating. Let's save it for the LITTLE ones and the handicapped not for those just wanting to get ahead of everyone else.

I did not like general seating. We were traveling with 2 children, 12 and 15 and rules state that they were too old to get pre-boarding status. It was very important to us that we were seated together. Also, the seats themselves were not comfortable. The head rest was hard.

Never fly with Southwest because there is no seat assignment. Was at the airport, 2 hours ahead of departure time and I still got a seat, 5 rows away from my husband. Suck !!
