“People were great, space was minimal”

Overall we had a pretty good experience with Continental. We had the best seats in economy, however, on the smaller plane the space was really tight. The larger plane was great, plenty of space and we even watched a cheesy movie! :)

Purchasing one's food is being done by many BEFORE they board. I do not eat much before I fly, so I wait to purchase their "mini" meals if I so wish. Not bad food, bland, but ok. Very friendly -answered a question I had with a smile and correct information. Would fly US Air, again

Waited in a long, long line for 43 minutes to check a bad. No other airlines had long lines.
In Denver we were told that the plane was too HOT to board, that it had been sitting for 5 hours and they needed to cool it down. Once aboard we were told that there was NO AC. The plane was really hot., finally cooled some when we were in the air.
We arrived in Burbank and were over the runway when
suddenly the plane shot up and the landing was aborted, very scary. Pilot said there was traffic on the runway.

Checkin was great. When boarding,they need to have an overhead sign when calling seating sections. It is very difficult to hear what the announcements are.
