    I signed up for Airfarewatchdog not expecting anything great, BUT I found a much needed flight to Seattle WA from Phoenix AZ for 192.00 round trip where that same flight is normally 330 -350

    Typical Southwest flight, neither especially good or especially bad. Late departure out of SeaTac, had to wait on the runway for quite a while. Hard to say if Southwest vs. United/US airways is better for this route, but at east SW doesn't seem to oversell their flights.

    The flight was on time. It was full, but boarding was done well. This was first flight on this airline. Would probably fly with this airline again in the future.

    My experience with USAir on the east coast is less

    than exemplary. Planes not clean, scheduled departure/arrival rarely as published, hospitality

    condescending. Our non-stop to Sea departed on time and arrived as scheduled, the plane was clean

    and the staff manning the aircraft did their task in a friendly, efficient and effective manner. Is there a difference between USAir east and west. There appears to be.

    Friendly crew, smooth flight on new plane. Early arrival in Seattle, which we appreciate as we travel with a dog. Check-in and security in Phoenix is awesome. Speaking of traveling with a pet, wouldn't it be nice if they could earn air miles, or you could use your own miles to pay for them since they count as your carry-on?

    We were early arriving at both destinations. Nice.

    Yes, we were served peanuts, crackers, sodas/juice etc. Still dislike not having assigned seating sometimes.

    Southwest is very predictable and there were no surprises. Both outgoing and incoming flights arrived early. Both outgoing and incoming flights were overbooked which seems to be the norm these days.

    ON RETURN FLIGHT WE WERE ALL BOARDED (VERY WARM IN PLANE) THEN WERE TOLD THE PLANE DIDN"T WORK SO WE HAD TO GET OFF THE PLANE WHICH IS BETTER THAN SITTING ON IT FOR HOURS. WE WERE DELAYED 1 1/2 HR. WHICH WASN'T BAD. BOARDED ANOTHER PLANE MUCH COOLER & GOT HOME SAFELY.
