paying $2 dollars for curbside checkin is nuts. you still have to swipe your card thru the kiosk. where is the benefit: there are kiosks inside

I always fly Southwest when I can. What is the point in getting a low fare with some other airline and then paying $25 to $85 for bags? The plane to Oakland, CA was fairly new, clean and comfortable. For the flight home to Phoenix, the plane was not so new, not so comfortable and there was a problem with the restroom door. A little maintenance needed inside the plane. The crew is always friendly and efficient.

Security was a piece of cake and I saw no pat-downs. Flight left on schedule, the Thanksgiving Day crowd was relatively quiet with few young children, the skies were clear, I had an unforgettable view of the land below (never flew that route before), we were offered a free alcoholic beverage as a Thanksgiving gift, and it was all very relaxing and uneventful.

I never wanted to fly on Southwest because of the long lines both at departure counter and then departure gate. Now, I completely changed my mind and love flying on Southwest. First I love the boarding arrangement being able to get preferred check-in over the Internet and also being able to check in 24 hours before departure. This new procedure makes my traveling life so much easier and it's never a push/shove issue. I always fly Southwest whenever I can and most of all I love the bargains that airfarewatchdog sends me weekly. Happy Traveler

I like my flights to be uneventful and this flight was very smooth and pleasant. SW is doing a great job in leaving on-time and move the passengers quickly into their seats. My flights seem to be always full loads and it's a pleasure to see a staff dedicated to on-time departures.
