With regard to SW Airlines I had a good flight each way. The crews were friendly and helpful - on return flight they took my box, computer & coat from me right at the entry and put them overhead & got them for me at end of flight. With regard to the airports, Dallas is far superior to Phoenix with regard to service. In Dallas the wheelchair attendants were right there when plane landed and immediately took me to baggage claim area. In Phoenix, and this has happened on several other occasions, there were no attendants when the plane landed and when they did come I was wheeled to the gate area and left sitting there for some time feeling awkward and embarrassed. As on other occasions the attendant had to wheel two people at the same time which caused further embarrassment. In Dallas the attendant asked if I wanted to get water for my water bottle and if I would like to stop at the restroom. In Phoenix such courtesy was not extended and with two people to take care of simultaneously it was no wonder.

My 91yr old Mom is in a wheelchair and requires an aisle chair to board. I cannot get seats on line due to her needing assistance. When I got to the airport to check in, they had STUCK her in the 20th row. The rude counter women basically told me TOUGH! If I wanted to help my Mom next time, I should just buy a premiere seat. Good news, was the guy at the gate was very kind and immediately moved her up to row 5. He was a sweetheart!

We were offered free baggage check as the flight was overbooked and then allowed to board the plane early as a result. Plenty of room in seats. Great flight attendants. Solid plane- unlike Southwest flight we took going in to Phoenix that felt as though the plane would fall apart upon landing. I hear Frontier and Midwest merged- I have flown Midwest and always experienced great service with roominess. Daughter will be attending school out in Colorado and will definitely choose Frontier as preferred airline.

In my previous job, I used to fly more than I do now. I was a frequent flier on Frontier for a few years. Their service and their treatment of customers has always been very good. My return flight to Phoenix was delayed to mechanical problems on a previous flight. That delayed the crew for my flight arriving in Denver. One nice thing that Frontier does is to offer free TV when their flights are late. I just wish I still had all the frequent-flyer benefits I used to have on Frontier.

It never ceases to amaze me how SW consistently has the friendliest staff in the skies!! Add to that: no baggage fees, low price fares, an easy to navigate website, online check-in......I can't figure out why anyone flies on any other airline. They always seem to exceed my expectations.

Since we purchased through Orbitz we were not assigned seats until half the plane boarded, plus $20 per bag each way. Frontier, Republic and another company have merged. I used to enjoy the service from Frontier but was disappointed with them and Orbitz due to no seat assignment. I was not aware of this until check in. Never disclosed.

As we approached Denver International Airport, there was a tornado warning and lightening in the area. Although we landed and pulled up with a few feet of the gate, we could not pull up to the gate because the ground crew was not allowed to be outsie while the tornado warning and lightening was around us. Our wait was around 2 hours. Although it was not the airline's fault, I was sent a $60 voucher from Southwest for my inconvenience.

We flew Frontier to DEN and Southwest back on 4/26. Going - all seats taken, returning perhaps 5 empty seats. Encountered bad weather on the return flight from DEN, 655pm departure left DEN at 100am. Southwest employees were pleasant and helpful, we attempted to standby for an earlier flight but it was fully booked so no luck there. In both cases planes were packed, seats not particularly comfortable, 25 mins to get through security on the return, approx. 100 yard long line waiting for us in Denver. Entire experience is a chore; felt the airline employees did their best and were pleasant and helpful.

I was flying on a voucher from United, given to me after a lengthy complaint email last summer, after having BOTH flights of a trip to Denver cancelled. I was skeptical to fly with them again, based on my prior experience. I was pleasantly surprised, however, that everything went smoothly. The nice surprise on my flight to Denver, was that when I asked for a Coke, I was given the whole can, without having to ask, and it was a Coke from Australia, which was not only interesting, but was made with real cane sugar, not the HFCS. On my return flight, our Captain made an announcement in the terminal, talked about the weather and how he was going to tailor his flight plan to avoid the storm. He talked about his mission to make it a great flight, too. Upon boarding, gave everyone a Boeing 757 "trading card". We all wondered why he gave us these, but towards the end of the flight, he announced that if his signature was on the card, that person won a free bottle of wine. Based on this flight, I really believe United is working hard to repair their image and their reputation. The Captain on that return flight showed that he really loves his job, and loves the company. I was very impressed.
