I am used to Southwest airlines and whenever I can I will continue to fly with them. Did not like to pay for checked baggage. Flight attendants were not friendly and seemed put out that they had to work. Not even peanuts or pretzels.

I have always been happy with Continental. Had to rush on the layover on the way as I had only 30 min. But it was better than sitting in the airport for several hours waiting for the next flight.

Continental was as good as we expected any airline to be: no meal or snack when it said none, but when it said 'snack' it was almost a meal - a light one - which was a nice little surprise. Everything went on time, no hiccups at all. We were satisfied with the whole experience ... and we haven't traveled in six years.

The A321 was a newer plane; there was adequate knee room (and I'm tall), even with seats reclining. The A320 also had adequate knee room, but it was an older plane and the seats creaked. We left and arrived on time. The Charlotte airport was very easy to get into and out of. Phoenix is much larger. All seats were filled going and most were filled on the return. The 3-3 seating in coach is crowded but bearable for a 4-hour flight. Flight attendants went through twice with drinks and food (for sale).
