The seatbelts were just about 1/2 an inch to small for me so needed an extender. I ordered a sandwich off the cart; both times the chicken salad had gristle in it. Water was served in cups; soda in cups; no snack if you chose to not purchase food. I think an entire can of soda or drink is not too much to ask. Late take-off both coming and on return trip.

We upgraded to Business when we checked in online 24 hrs. ahead. Will probably be the last time we'll be able to do that with AirTran since Southwest will not offer Business Class in the same way. Our flight attendant was EXCELLENT! (Flight 539 from PHX on New Year's Eve - 12:40 pm) Seats were the best, and everyone on the plane was quiet. No crying babies!! We love AirTran and hope that Southwest does not change the best things about this airline. We're looking forward to not having to pay for bags.

Will use Airtran again since they are direct and on time. Usually very competitive and pilots are very friendly. Just need more spacious planes.

I sat in the back of the plane going to Atlanta, which was not comfortable. However, i was able to sit closer to the front by the window coming home was very enjoyable. The fruit plate going was good, however, too little cheese and too many crackers.

I was able to change my seat for the flight home. The flight to Atlanta i sat in the back of the 'bus' on the aisle which was a challenge. A challenge to put my roll around under the seat. I brought a fruit/veg plate going to Atlanta. I would have liked more crackers for the amount of cheese. I ate the free goodies on the way home to Phoenix. thanks, mjb

Typical uncomfortable, cramped seat. On time with cabin attendents who were not overly personable. Done, Done, Done, Done, Done, Done

Somehow, the airlines are getting even worse. I think they are forgetting that WE are the customer, and WE keep them employed, but with more airlines cutting basic services and/or charging for them, they are pushing the customer away more & more. I am now to the point that I will only fly if it is a dire emergency- my days of flying for leisure are over! Get your act together United, Delta, Continental, etc., and remember that the worse you treat the customer, the less customers you will have paying for your jobs.
