    The seat pitch (distance between seats) still seems to be getting smaller, or maybe the passenger behind me is always tall, but when I put my seat back, I hit his legs (which he didn't appreciate).

    Also, on American, it is seldom worth upgrading to "Group 1" in order to board sooner, there are too many other groups (first class, numerous business classes and other "advantage" memeber types) which always precede "Group 1" - the plan is always more than 1/2 full before Group 1 is called. On the flight out to CA, I'd say 75% of the people got on before me, despite my upgrade to Group 1

    2hr delay in phl with no explaination, missed connection and got on next flight to sjc with 3hr layover. american personal were very nice.

    I fly to SantaCruz every 8 wks. I try to fly Continental or Delta if possible. They are more accomodating than other airlines. Crew very thoughtful and helpful.

    SUPRISE ! Did you know if the plane you are flying on lands at an unscheduled airport and you don't have to change planes the airline doesn't have to call it a stop.....we flew nonstop from Philadelphia to Phoenix VIA CHICAGO WITH AN HOUR AND A HALF LAYOVER. Because we weren't required to disembark it was not technically called a stop and hense US Air did not have to disclose it until we were about to land at Chicago. TGhe pilot announced this totally by suprise....sort of like....oh, by the way.....
