It is not worth upgrading to first class with USAir domestic flights. No movie, average food, drinks in plastic cups, minimal snacks or extras.

Is it me or does the reclining position feel like a 5 degree tilt, basically doing nothing for the feeling of relaxation? I hated this flight, it was long and uncomfortable. It would have been that way on any airplane. I guess that is why they have first class. The LAX USAir check in woman was the devil. She made me stuff my purse in my bag (thinking that it wouldn't fit). Come to find out, the seat next to me was empty. She made me do it b/c she could, no attempt at customer service. After being hazed by her, I was totally annoyed and remembered why I hated USAirways.

The plane was small, nothing was included, not even a screen or movie. I did get a free cup of water. We arrived there safely, so that's a plus. Overall - nothing special!

You can't beat Southwest for comfort - most coach legroom of all. Great crew! Free snacks. Only problem is their Rewards Pgm. You must make EIGHT Rts in 2 years or you lose your points. On Coast to coast trips this would be 7,000 miles on other airlines and their miles don't expire if you do anything with a partner for miles. SW doesn't fly everywhere so only business folks who fly a LOT win.

I sent my 92 year old (feisty & alert) Mom to visit her niece in CA. Mom uses a walker which we were able to load with her luggage at no cost (handicap devices are no charge). I had called ahead and requested a wheelchair & 24 hours I called ahead and requested bulk head seating for her. US Airways had an attendant out with a wheelchair before we could even get Mom or the luggage out of the car. They were very prompt, efficient & courteous. Mom said the flight was especially smooth & she enjoyed it. The price was absolutely fantastic at $366 roundtrip, non-stop.

They ran out of food before they got to our row, at the beginning of the flight. The seats have become more narrow, and after they served beverages, they put out some water with cups and then closed the curtain to their private area so the passengers wouldn't bother them.

Luggage Fees are too expensive. We did not see any movie which made for a boring 6 hour trip. There were no blankets. It had a lot to be desired. There were no headphones. I prefer United. The food is lousy and too expensive on the plane and especially at the airport.

I boarded a 6pm flight from Phillie to LAX, on the heels of making an incoming connection from Rome. I was astounded to hear the flight attendant come over the speaker and tell folks who were seated in the back of the plane to place their baggage in the overhead bins in the middle of the plane, since the back of the plane was full. What about those of us still in the aisle, heading mid plane? Crazy to instruct people to rob the spaces. This is as offensive as watching people sitting in row 30+ place their bags in the binds in row 2 because the bags are too heavy to carry. If they are to heavy, they should be checked. Also, there happenned to be a blanket on my seat, which I placed on my lap. A flight attndant noticed the blanket, and aggressively queried where I got it from, and in not so many words, accused me of stealing it from 1st class. She then GRABBED it from my lap, and told me that someone in 1st class was surely looking for the blanket. I hate this airline.

Guess im used to flying on big boy planes that have screens built into the back of the seat in front of you. Not US Air. Old school "suspended from the ceiling hanging screens" in the middle of the aisle. Between being short and having a tough time seeing them in the first place to having to dodge and weave to see the screens around people coming and going, i gave up...

The seats are narrow. was on an A321 and fortunately had an exit row so I had extra leg room. The seats barely recline and I'm fairly slim, yet it's a tight fit. The flights in both directions were just about full and the flight attendants do the bare minimum with no smiles or any personality at all....at least on these two flights. We did arrive early both coming and going, so that's a plus.
