It was a very pleasant experience. The crew was very accommodating. We experienced some turbulence in flight, but the captain and his crew assured us that everything would be okay and it was. I was a pleasure flying with us airways!

Love the fact that I could have 2 suitcases at no charge, plus a carry on!! Yay Southwest. Seats are Waaaaay to small and tight. Bathrooms are even smaller. If you need to use a rest room, use the ones at the airport prior to boarding plane. Flight attendants were pleasant.

Flight was Good. In flight a little different as a woman in my row decided to breast feed her baby. All for caring for your children however I should not be subjected to seeing that. Also, just be aware if you want food you must pay with a credit card on flight...no cash. I wanted to pay cash and it was rejected. My credit card was in my bag in over head so not easy to get to with all of the bags stuffed in. Again flight itself GOOD - just a little unhappy with the in flight stuff that went on.

What pleasant and unexpected surprise to be to offered snacks with our beverage. It's the little things that go a long way. We usually fly on USAir when possible due to frequent flyer miles - maybe it's time to make a change. We usually fly nonstop, but even the quick stop in Cincinnati was painless.

Flying Southwest Airlines is always so easy and this trip was no exception. Because of my weekend schedule, I only flew SW to my destination and another airline on the return. I didn't know in advance that it was considered a holiday weekend - Columbus Day - and the airport was packed, the flight oversold, and people everywhere. Despite all that, the airport personnel were clam, friendly and helpful, and it was no different during the flight. Chicago was equally crazy but again, everything was handled easily and we were actually early getting to our destination.

The flight going was easy and smooth. The attendants were very polite and 'funny'. Would fly Soutwest again.. The returning flight was not bad. We flew in a rainstorm and landed in a rainstorm, but the pilot was great. He got a standing ovation when we landed. The crew was also polite and 'funny'. On both flights our baggage was on the turntable in good time. Did not have to wait too long and all luggage was in good shape. Really liked that we did not have to pay for luggage. Great airline....

I love having a nonstop flight to go cross country. I hate being on a plane with no in flight entertainment, no wi-fi, and the only food you can eat is what you bring or what you buy on the plane. This is not a pleasant traveling experience. Used to be you would be on a double aisle plane with a movie and a meal. Those days are long gone. And this ticket was not cheap by any means. So pay a lot, get a little. Seats were comfortable but not wide and 3 across in a packed plane is no fun. You can get up during the flight - but there is no where to stand, the aisles are narrow and you bump the passengers. No wonder everyone is cranky.

long term flier ... SW Airlines has happy employees, efficient systems and enough leg room so it doesn't feel like "sardine class." I disembarked still feeling like a valued human being. I fly Southwest whenever possible, even if the route might cost a few dollars more, which it usually doesn't.

I was traveling to a conference in Las Vegas with a layover in Dallas. The connecting flight was 3 hours late. No explanation and unfortunately, it caused the layover to be 5 hours instead of 2. I arrived in Vegas at 0230 (instead of 10 pm) and had been awake at that point almost 24 hrs. When the flight took off, lights were turned off, no drinks of any kind were offered (complimentary or otherwise) I needed to be at the conference at 8 am so was not happy.

Our plane from Philly and our connecting plane was also on time. The trip out was fine. On the return flight the check-in was a mad house but of course we're talking about Las Vagas and it is always very crowded. The flight was the same as going out execpt to our delight the plane got in 40 min. early. We were 2 very happy travelers. P.S. Delta is the way to fly !

I have flown many different airlines, but this was the first time on Southwest. I was pleasantly surprised with ease of check-in, open seating, and the fact I was able to sit in exit rows to stretch during the long flight.

Bad seats, no service, attendants letting people on with multiple oversized bags. Paying extra for seats, blankets etc. Flying is no longer a pleasure, now its just a chore.. Oh one last note on the TSA (thousands standing around) the rudist group one would hope never to incounter.

Flew first class on miles. Seats were decent, plane was old. UA could definitely stand to update. First Class isn't what it used to be. I remember champagne and strawberries on a similar flight 10+ years ago. Now it seems like FC is what Steerage used to be. I certainly wouldn't pay extra for the food, though the extra space is definitely nice.

We have just recently been using Southwest and I may never use anyone else again. We had a very long delay due to unforseen problems on our way to Vegas and by the time I got home, I had a credit from the airlines for the inconvenience caused us. They are the happiest employees I've ever flown with and not to mention the free bags. Rates are great and saved us $200 before we left the airport. I recommend them to everyone.

Checked in online and was offered a cheap-o upgrade from my free voucher to First Class for just $200. It was the best $200 I spent. Met a great older wealthy business man and had a great time chatting. Service was outstanding. And who'd have thunk it from the lower end if the majors, good ole US...I hear-by re-pent in dust & ashes!
