We flew Orlando-Sanford on Allegiant. In the past we've had good experience. After our most recent experience in June/July we're not so sure we'll ever use Allegiant again! Going out our flight was delayed by an hour and coming back we were stuck waiting for our return flight for over 10 hours!!! They gave us several flimsy (not believable) reasons for delay. One annoucement said "the pilot has deemed this flight ready to go." Then less than 10 minutes later it was announced that we could not use that jet. Over and over again we were given a song and dance about why our flight couldn't leave. When we were finally ready for take-off the pilot said that it had been a bad day all day and that "all the planes were broken down today." That is not an encouragement for people to fly Allegiant! Why in the world can't they keep their fleet up and running??? Have many of their employees quit rather than work for such a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants airline?

Allegiant is the best value for me and it goes to Toledo which is convenient for my family. Wish they offered more days to come/go during the week.

We fly this airline and this trip several times a year; its almost always on time, loads and unloads passengers quickly; flight staff is courteous. There are no frills (food & drink must be purchased), and passengers are charged for seat assignment and baggage, but even with those, their low fares when booked far in advance make this is a very good value.
