We left Orlando at 7:15 to get to Midway... which was running slowly due to early AM weather... we ran out of gas and flew back down to Indianapolis. AFter a quick splash of fuel we were promised a 34 minute gate to gate flight back to MDW. An hour and 40 minutes later we were on the ground... and had missed our connection back to CLE. All flights to CLE were sold out for the rest of the day (2, 6:15, 8:30). Two of the three of us made it on the 2PM via standby status. I waited around MDW (no seats, no food, nothing!) until the 6:15 which didn't leave until 8:10 due to another round of weather.

While the Southwest personnel were pleasant, nothing was offered (other than a coloring book for the kids!) to keep up comfortable all day long. UGH!
